Artists must carefully consider wall thickness and structural supports to minimize stress points. The choice of patina also becomes critical, as some finishes are more vulnerable to thermal cycling than others. Additionally, installation techniques must account for thermal movement—rigid mounts can cause fractures, while flexible systems allow for natural expansion.
