The alloy's composition—primarily copper and tin—grants it exceptional durability against thermal expansion and contraction. Unlike other metals, bronze expands minimally under heat, reducing the risk of cracks or warping. Over time, a protective patina forms on the surface, shielding the sculpture from corrosion caused by moisture and temperature fluctuations.
